Just what is this Father's Day holiday? This day is for all the Dad's out there that from the moment they wake up the only thing that matter's is making sure their kid's are ok and life proceeds on.
   This is for all the Father's that won't see their children today. Kid's take their parents for granted, that they'll always be there but it doesn't always work out that way. Divorce and illness take a big toll on many families. Here's my story.
   The earliest memory I have of my Father was how much I looked forward to seeing him once every two weeks. When I knew he was coming I'd either wait by the window for hours or I'd sit outside on my front porch and wait. Sometimes he came, sometimes he didn't.
   I'm sure it's that way for a lot of kid's today, an unfortunate fact of life. Father's need to realize how important they are in their child's early developement. I will never know what kind of person I could of been if my Father played a more prominent role in my life.
   So to all the Dad's out there on this day, live every day for your children. If you haven't been start now. Our world is a tough enough place to negotiate but when you take our hand when we're born and you don't let go until your last dying breath, you've done exactly what you were supposed to do.
